Confirmation texts include the meeting details and a confirmation link. Guests can reply YES to confirm or tell the assistant they need to reschedule.
See whether a booking is confirmed or still waiting for a reply. Confirmation requests stop once that booking is resolved.
You can enable a policy to release unconfirmed bookings before the meeting. Guests receive a final check-in before the cutoff when that policy is enabled.
For Joinwell bookings, the confirmation workflow checks whether the attendee has a phone number and has opted in to SMS. Unconfirmed guests receive the scheduled requests; confirmed guests can receive a meeting reminder instead. You decide whether an unanswered booking should remain on your calendar or be released under an enabled confirmation policy. This workflow does not automatically message everyone on an imported calendar event.

Automatic confirmation texts apply to eligible Joinwell bookings with a guest phone number and SMS consent. They are skipped for bookings that are cancelled, already resolved or already started.

Only when you enable the policy to release unconfirmed bookings. That policy sets a cutoff before the meeting and provides a final confirmation request. You can leave automatic release off.
